The AIRMAR 455T-SS903 is a stainless-steel, thru-hull high-frequency CHIRP Side-Scan transducer designed for vessels using the built-in CHIRP Side-Scan function of Furuno NavNet TZtouchXL displays (TZT10X, TZT13X, TZT16X). Operating at 150 W and 445–465 kHz, it delivers a high-resolution CHIRP sweep that produces sharp, high-contrast lateral imaging for structure detection, seabed definition and survey-grade bottom mapping. Installation documentation
The transducer must be installed flush with the hull to ensure clean water flow and accurate side-scan returns. Avoid locations near strakes, steps, intakes or other sources of turbulence. The interior mounting area must allow firm tightening of the thru-hull nut. Route the cable using watertight grommets and avoid high-interference electrical wiring. Confirm that the vessel is equipped with a NavNet TZtouchXL display to ensure full functionality.
