Designed for high-frequency operation, it delivers a narrow beamwidth, perfect for targeting fish tightly grouped around wrecks, reefs, and other underwater structures. Operating across a wide 130 to 210 kHz frequency range, the B175H provides up to 80 kHz of continuous bandwidth all in a single, efficient installation.
Equipped with Airmar’s Tilted Element™ technology, the B175H compensates for hull deadrise by fixing the ceramic element at a precise angle (20°, 12°, or 0°) inside the housing. This ensures the element is properly oriented for horizontal echo returns, maximizing performance without the need for a fairing block. The nearly flush-mounted design also minimizes drag, making it perfect for high-speed applications.
