The Tron TR30 GMDSS and Maritime VHF radio is a revolutionary "two-in-one" radio that allows users to access both regular GMDSS simplex channels and complete maritime duplex channels.
The two-positioning charger is small and compact, and it allows the user to view essential information on the display while charging. Every aspect was designed with user usefulness in mind, both in an emergency situation (emergency battery) and in normal on-board communications (rechargeable battery).
The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) is an internationally agreed-upon collection of safety procedures, equipment types, and communication protocols designed to promote safety and make rescue of all troubled ships, boats, and aircrafts simpler. The primary goal of GMDSS is to prevent unanswered distress calls and delays in Search and Rescue efforts in the case of a crisis emergency.
A Very High Frequency (VHF) Marine Radio, permits rapid communication between your boat and other boats, marinas, bridges, and the Coast Guard. It is a primary means of communication on coastal seas and offers several advantages over a mobile phone, CB radio, or other forms of communication.

A “two-in-one” radio
The Tron TR30 GMDSS and Maritime VHF Radio automatically switches between regular simplex and duplex maritime channels, as well as 21 emergency simplex channels, depending on whether a rechargeable or sealed lithium battery is inserted. The Tron TR30 GMDSS is a "two-in-one" radio thanks to this innovative function.
The ultimate functional design
Every aspect was designed with user functionality in mind, both in an emergency circumstance (emergency battery) and in normal on-board communications (rechargeable battery). When you attach the emergency battery, the radio goes into pre-programmed emergency mode. Only emergency features are available, decreasing the user's critical radio adjusting time.
