The P79 is a dual-frequency, depth-only in-hull transducer designed for easy installation and reliable performance in boats with solid fiberglass hulls. It adjusts to hull deadrise angles up to 22°, ensuring the transducer beam remains vertical for accurate depth readings. The included plastic mounting base is secured inside the hull along the centerline and filled with eco-friendly, non-toxic antifreeze. This liquid medium allows the transducer to effectively transmit and receive signals through the hull and into the water without the need for drilling or exterior fittings. Ideal for smaller boats up to 8 meters (25 feet), the P79’s in-hull design keeps the hull exterior completely smooth, making it the perfect choice for trailered or dry-stored vessels.
