P79 50/200A In Hull D
The P79 is a dual-frequency, depth-only, in-hull transducer that adjusts easily to hull deadrise angles up to 22°. It includes a plastic mounting base that is aligned with the boat’s centerline and secured inside the hull. The base is then filled with non-toxic antifreeze, creating an effective medium for sonar signal transmission through solid fiberglass. The transducer is inserted and adjusted to match the deadrise angle, ensuring the beam is oriented directly downward for maximum echo returns. With no protruding parts on the hull exterior, the P79 is ideal for trailered or lifted boats. Designed specifically for smaller vessels up to 8 m (25') with solid fiberglass hulls.
