P79 50/200 In Hull D
The P79 is a dual-frequency, depth-only in-hull transducer designed for smaller boats up to 8 meters (25 feet) with solid fiberglass hulls. It adjusts easily to hull deadrise angles up to 22 degrees and installs entirely inside the boat, eliminating the need for any thru-hull drilling or external protrusions. The unit comes with a plastic mounting base that is secured to the inside of the hull and filled with non-toxic antifreeze, which serves as an effective medium for transmitting sonar signals through fiberglass. Once inserted into the base, the transducer is adjusted to ensure the beam is directed straight down, delivering accurate and reliable depth readings. This internal setup makes the P79 an ideal choice for boats that are frequently trailered or lifted.
