BOTTOM DISCRIMINATION FUNCTION
With the aid of the Fish Finder's Bottom Discrimination feature, you may find rich fishing places and increase your daily catch by learning if the bottom is primarily made up of rocks, gravel, sand, or mud.
ACCU-FISH™
Furuno-exclusive technology called ACCU-FISH™ size assessment function instantly recognizes individual fish. Echo returns are analyzed based on strength and converted into fish size displays (10 to 199 cm, in depths of 2 to 100 m) on the screen to determine the size of each fish.
REZBOOST™
Furuno's ground-breaking REZBOOST™ signal processing technology enhances target separation and resolution when used with traditional CW narrow-band transducers. Locate individual game fish among bait balls and fish near the seafloor. With REZBOOST™, the ACCU-FISHTM feature will perform better and have greater resolution and clearer graphics.
Conventional narrowband transducers' capabilities can be significantly increased using RezBoostTM. A REZBOOST™ Fish Finder generates an image that is up to 8 times* sharper when compared to standard signal processing methods (FDF). It is quite amazing what can be accomplished with a typical narrow-band transducer, such as the one you may already have mounted on your boat.**

COMBINE CW AND TruECHO CHIRP FOR ADDED CAPABILITIES
When you combine CHIRP with standard CW transducers*, you'll see sharp CHIRP echoes on the screen while your CW transducer's ACCU-FISH™ and Bottom Discrimination capabilities operate in the background, overlaying critical information on your CHIRP returns. You'll be able to see fish targets, fish size estimation, fish depth, and bottom composition**. Preset choices of up to three frequencies can be kept.

COLOR EXPANSION
Color Range Expansion broadens the range of distinguishable echoes, allowing you to easily identify bottom species from the seafloor. Reefs, structure, and fish near the seafloor are depicted in slightly different colors to make it easier.
WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY
While fishing, you may watch the underwater situation from the stern or bow using a second display that can be fitted to show the echoes and navigation data from the FCV-800 through wireless network.
