DT800 P17 Smart Sensor 235kHz

The DT800 is a low-profile, retractable Smart™ Sensor that provides accurate depth and temperature data using Airmar’s proven Tilted Element and broadband technologies. Designed for thru-hull installation, the DT800 sends data to any NMEA 0183-compatible display with just a single cable. The embedded microelectronics process the depth signal directly inside the sensor, eliminating the need for an external processor. The transducer element is tilted within the housing to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring the beam is oriented straight down for optimal echo returns and accurate readings, even at high speeds. The DT800 is available with durable plastic, bronze, or stainless steel housings to suit a wide range of vessels and hull materials. Each housing includes a water valve to minimize water ingress when removing the sensor for maintenance.

20° tilt for hull deadrise angles of 16° to 24°

12° tilt for hull deadrise angles of 8° to 15°

0° tilt for hull deadrise angles of 0° to 7°
