Airmar Replacement blanking plug for ST800 Transducer speed/temperature sensors. Fits P120 and B120 housings. Prevents water ingress when sensor is removed. Read more.
The AIRMAR Blanking Plug for ST800 is a dedicated sealing plug designed to safely close the thru-hull housing when an ST800 speed and temperature transducer is removed. It provides a simple and reliable way to protect the hull opening during maintenance, sensor removal, or extended periods when the transducer is not installed.
Designed to fit the same P120 or B120 thru-hull housings used by the ST800 transducer, the blanking plug ensures a secure and watertight seal. It helps prevent unwanted water ingress, reduces turbulence at the hull opening, and protects the housing from debris or marine growth while the sensor is out of the water.
This accessory does not measure or transmit data. Its sole purpose is to maintain hull integrity and system safety when the active transducer is temporarily removed, making it an essential spare or service component for vessels equipped with ST800 sensors.
Blanking plug for AIRMAR ST800 speed & temperature transducers
Compatible with P120 and B120 thru-hull housings
Seals the thru-hull opening when the transducer is removed
Supports safe maintenance and seasonal sensor removal
Helps reduce water ingress and protect the housing
Simple, tool-free installation in the existing housing
Designed for marine use in demanding environments
The blanking plug is inserted into the existing P120 or B120 thru-hull housing in the same manner as the ST800 transducer. Once in place, it seals the hull opening to maintain watertight integrity while the sensor is removed. Proper seating of the plug is essential to ensure a secure seal, especially if the vessel remains in the water during servicing or storage.
