Airmar B175M 1 kW Medium-CHIRP bronze thru-hull transducer, 83–135 kHz. Provides strong mid-band penetration, crisp target separation, stable bottom tracking and fast temperature sensing. Includes tilted flush mount and 12 m cable with 10-pin connector. Read more.
The AIRMAR B175M is a high-performance single-channel Medium-CHIRP thru-hull transducer, engineered for reliable mid-band depth tracking and clear target separation in both coastal and offshore environments. With 1 kW power and an 83–135 kHz CHIRP range, it provides stronger penetration and improved mid-band clarity compared to traditional fixed-frequency sensors. The B175M delivers crisp fish arches, stable bottom returns and a balanced combination of depth capability and detail resolution, making it ideal for serious anglers and advanced sonar applications.
Its solid bronze housing is designed for long-term durability and optimal acoustic coupling, while the tilted-element flush mount ensures the ceramic maintains the correct beam angle on hulls with deadrise. The integrated depth and fast-response temperature sensors, combined with a 12-meter cable and 10-pin connector, offer seamless plug-and-play compatibility with Furuno CHIRP fish finders and TZtouch systems.
The B175M is available in 0°, 12° and 20° tilted-element versions to suit different hull deadrise angles. The selected angle does not affect the transducer’s specifications or sonar performance; it ensures the acoustic beam is correctly oriented in the water for optimal depth readings and target definition.

Installation documentation
The transducer must be installed flush to the hull using the correct tilt angle to maintain proper beam orientation. Avoid strakes, steps or turbulent flow areas. Use marine sealant for watertight mounting. Route the cable through a watertight gland and connect it directly to the 10-pin input, keeping it away from high-interference electrical sources to ensure clean CHIRP performance.
The tilted-element thru-hull design is offered in 0°, 12° and 20° versions to match different hull deadrise angles, allowing the acoustic beam to be oriented vertically in the water. Selecting the correct angle during installation is essential for accurate depth readings and consistent CHIRP performance.
