The AIRMAR B150M is a bronze single-channel CHIRP depth and temperature thru-hull transducer, designed for boaters who want clearer sonar returns than traditional 50/200 kHz units but do not need a dual-channel or high-wide system. Operating in the 95–155 kHz mid-band CHIRP range, it sends a continuous sweep of frequencies instead of a single tone, producing sharper fish arches, cleaner mid-water targets and more reliable bottom detail — especially in coastal and inshore conditions where precision matters.
With a 300 W power rating, the B150M provides strong and stable performance for small to mid-size vessels. Its bronze thru-hull housing ensures durability and consistent acoustic coupling with the water, giving more accurate readings at speed. An integrated water-temperature sensor, 12 m cable and 10-pin connector allow straightforward plug-and-play integration with compatible Furuno CHIRP modules and TZtouch sounders.
The B150M is available in 0°, 12° and 20° tilted-element versions to suit different hull deadrise angles. The selected angle does not change the transducer’s specifications or sonar performance; it simply ensures the acoustic beam is correctly oriented in the water for optimal depth readings and target definition.

Installation documentation
Install the transducer in a position where water flow is clean and free of turbulence to ensure accurate CHIRP returns. The bronze housing must sit flush with the hull for optimal performance. Avoid strakes, steps and fittings that introduce air or turbulence. Route the cable through a watertight pass-through and connect directly to the 10-pin input, keeping it isolated from electrical interference for the clearest readings.
The tilted-element thru-hull design is available in 0°, 12° and 20° versions to match different hull deadrise angles, allowing the acoustic beam to be oriented vertically in the water for optimal sonar performance.
