Dynamic trim control with 800 mm straight interceptors for vessels up to 30.5 m. Dual-servo actuators and GPS sensors deliver automatic roll and pitch stabilization, boosting safety, comfort, fuel efficiency, and handling in demanding marine use. Read more.
The Zipwake Series E 800E Straight Kit Box Trim System is a next-generation dynamic trim control solution designed for vessels up to 30.5 m (100 ft) and speeds of up to 110 km/h (≈60 knots). Compared to the Series S, the Series E range provides larger and more powerful interceptors, a longer blade stroke of 60 mm, and dual-servo actuators for faster, more efficient lift—making it ideal for bigger and more demanding vessels.
This kit includes a pair of 800 mm straight interceptors, a robust distribution unit, and an intuitive control panel. With integrated GPS, gyro, and 3D accelerometer sensors, the system operates fully automatically to eliminate uncomfortable pitch and roll, minimize drag, improve fuel efficiency, and enhance onboard comfort. Thanks to its modular design, up to six interceptors can be connected without additional connectors or power supplies, making it scalable for different hull configurations.
FEATURES
Straight Interceptors (IT800-E Straight)
Two 800 mm straight interceptors with dual-servo actuators. Built for larger vessels, they provide excellent lift and rapid pitch/roll correction even under heavy loads.
Distribution Unit (DU-E)
Supplies power and connectivity for up to six interceptors. Rugged and waterproof (IP67), with integrated overload and short-circuit protection. Includes a 4 m power cable.
Control Panel (CP-E)
A larger, sunlight-readable 3D color display with dual dials for intuitive manual adjustment. In automatic mode, the system continuously stabilizes vessel motion while showing real-time speed, pitch, roll, and interceptor positions.
INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
The 800 mm straight interceptors require adequate transom space due to their larger size. Use the provided drill templates to ensure accurate alignment, keeping the blades flush with the hull surface. When routing cables below the waterline, apply watertight grommets to protect system integrity. The Distribution Unit should be mounted in a dry, accessible compartment (such as the engine room), allowing room for cable routing and service access. The Control Panel should be installed at the helm for optimal visibility. Always plan ahead if expanding the system up to six interceptors, ensuring even load distribution across the transom.
