The AIRMAR 455T-TM903 is a high-frequency CHIRP Side-Scan transom-mount transducer designed for vessels using the built-in CHIRP Side-Scan function of Furuno NavNet TZtouchXL displays (TZT10X, TZT13X, TZT16X). Operating at 150 W per side within a 445–465 kHz CHIRP band, it provides sharp, high-contrast left/right imaging ideal for structure detection, seabed analysis and survey applications. The rugged plastic housing and included mounting bracket make it suitable for a wide range of hull types.
This model is ideal for small to medium vessels, trailer boats, workboats and recreational craft requiring clear side-scan coverage without thru-hull installation. Installation documentation
Mount the transducer on the transom where it has clean, undisturbed water flow at all operating speeds. Avoid strakes, steps and exhaust outlets that generate turbulence or aeration. The bracket must be aligned to maintain correct beam orientation for accurate port/starboard imaging. Route the cable through a watertight fitting and keep it clear of high-interference wiring. Full functionality requires a NavNet TZtouchXL display with built-in CHIRP Side-Scan.
