The AIRMAR 225T-TM904 is a high-frequency CHIRP Side-Scan transom-mount transducer designed for vessels using the built-in CHIRP Side-Scan function of Furuno NavNet TZtouch3 (TZT12F, TZT16F, TZT19F) and NavNet TZtouchXL (TZT10X, TZT13X, TZT16X) multifunction displays. Operating at 150 W per side within a 220–240 kHz CHIRP band, it delivers sharp, symmetrical port/starboard imaging ideal for structure identification, seabed analysis, and survey applications. Installation documentation
Mount the transducer on the transom in an area with clean, undisturbed water flow at all operating speeds. Avoid strakes, steps, exhaust outlets and other turbulence sources. Align the bracket carefully to maintain correct beam orientation for accurate port/starboard imaging. Route the cable through a watertight fitting and keep it away from electrical interference. Full performance requires a NavNet TZtouch3 or TZtouchXL display with built-in CHIRP side-scan capability.
