Automatic trim system with 600 mm straight interceptors for boats up to 15.5 m. IM-S integration with MFDs and app control provides stabilization, reduces roll and pitch, improves safety and fuel saving. Compact, durable and designed for marine use. Read more.
The Zipwake Series S 600S Integrator Module Straight Kit Box Trim System is an advanced dynamic trim control solution designed for vessels up to 15.5 m (50 ft) and speeds of up to 110 km/h (≈60 knots). Compared to conventional trim tab systems, the Series S delivers 5–10 times faster response, superior lift, and simplified installation. This model includes 600 mm straight interceptors, engineered for precise pitch and roll correction on sport and semi-commercial craft.
The kit combines fast-acting straight interceptors with the Integrator Module (IM-S) and a robust distribution unit, providing seamless integration with multifunction displays (MFDs) and smart devices. With wireless connectivity via the Zipwake app, the system allows real-time monitoring, configuration, and updates. Fully automatic operation ensures constant stabilization, improving safety, fuel efficiency, and onboard comfort.
Straight Interceptors (IT600-S Straight)
Two 600 mm straight interceptors with single-servo fast-acting actuators. Designed for small to mid-size planing craft, they provide precise pitch and roll compensation while withstanding harsh marine conditions.
Distribution Unit (DU-S)
Powers and connects all system components. Waterproof, oil-resistant, and ignition-protected for installation in engine rooms. Includes a 4 m power cable and built-in electrical protection. Supports up to six interceptors.
Integrator Module (IM-S)
Compact, waterproof module that integrates the Zipwake system with MFDs and smart devices. Equipped with RGB LED status indicators, CAN-bus interface, and wireless connectivity. Allows monitoring, control, and updates via smartphones or tablets using the Zipwake app.
INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
For best results, interceptors should be installed symmetrically on the transom, using the included drill templates for precise alignment. Ensure the blades sit flush with the hull surface and maintain equal spacing from the keel. The Distribution Unit should be mounted in a dry, accessible area (e.g., engine room), with enough clearance for cable routing. Use watertight grommets if cables must pass below the waterline. The Integrator Module can be installed behind the dashboard, on the flybridge, or in the machinery space; it requires only a single Ethernet cable connection to an MFD. Proper sealing of all thru-hull penetrations is essential to preserve watertight integrity.
