The Zipwake Series 400E Chine Kit Box Trim System is a professional-grade dynamic trim control solution designed for vessels up to 30 m (100 ft) and speeds of up to 60 knots. As part of the Series E range, it features larger, faster, and more robust interceptors than the Series S, making it ideal for heavier and high-performance boats.
The Chine configuration is specifically engineered for angled hull surfaces, providing optimal roll and pitch compensation on deep-V and multi-hull vessels. The Series E delivers enhanced lift, faster response, and smoother navigation through its 60 mm blade stroke, 40 mm/s actuation rate, and dual-servo technology. Chine Interceptors (IT400-E Chine)
Two 400 mm chine interceptors, designed for angled hull surfaces. Equipped with dual brushless servos that deliver rapid blade movement and superior lift for effective stabilization even at high speeds.
Distribution Unit (DU-E)
The central power and communication hub of the system. It connects and supplies power to the interceptors, providing built-in protection against short circuits and overloads. Rugged, waterproof (IP67), oil-resistant, and ignition-protected, it is safe for installation below deck.
Control Panel (CP-E)
An intuitive 3D control panel featuring a bright, sunlight-readable display and dual control dials for easy manual adjustments. It enables fully automatic operation, continuously monitoring vessel speed, roll, and pitch angles.

The chine interceptors should be installed flush with the angled hull surfaces to ensure optimal water flow and effective roll control. Each interceptor must be mounted precisely using the included drilling templates to maintain balance and symmetry. The Distribution Unit is best placed in a dry, accessible area such as the engine room, while the Control Panel should be mounted at the helm for easy access and visibility.
Cable penetrations below the waterline must be sealed with watertight grommets to preserve IP protection. The system’s modular architecture allows for seamless expansion up to six interceptors without additional connectors or power supplies. Correct alignment and configuration ensure consistent lift, smooth stabilization, and efficient performance at all speeds.
