Professional trim control for vessels up to 30 m. The Zipwake 400E Chine Integrator combines chine interceptors with the IM-E module for digital helm control via MFDs, offering automatic roll and pitch stabilization and improved fuel efficiency. Read more.
The Zipwake Series 400E Chine Integrator Module Kit Box Trim System is an advanced, professional-grade dynamic trim control solution for vessels up to 30 m (100 ft). Belonging to the Series E range, it is specifically designed for larger and heavier boats, offering greater lift and faster response through dual-servo interceptors with a 60 mm blade stroke and a 40 mm/s blade rate.
The Chine configuration is optimized for angled hull surfaces, providing enhanced roll and pitch compensation on deep-V and multi-hull designs. Unlike the standard Kit Box, this version incorporates the Integrator Module (IM-E), which replaces the control panel to provide centralized digital control via multifunction displays (MFDs) and smart devices. This makes it the perfect solution for vessels with more complex setups or multiple Zipwake systems requiring seamless integration and a clean helm layout.
Chine-optimized design: Tailored for angled hulls, maximizing roll and pitch correction on V-shaped surfaces.
Series E performance: Delivers exceptional lift and responsiveness, suitable for larger and heavier vessels up to 30 m.
Centralized digital control: Integrator Module allows seamless management through MFDs and smart devices, replacing the traditional control panel.
Automatic stabilization: Real-time correction of trim and roll for smoother handling, increased safety, and fuel efficiency.
Heavy-duty durability: IP68-rated interceptors and IP67-rated electronics ensure performance under extreme marine conditions.
System scalability: Supports up to six interceptors with additional distribution units, enabling flexible expansion.
Fuel efficiency: Actively minimizes wave resistance and drag to improve speed and reduce fuel consumption.
Chine Interceptors (IT400-E Chine)
Two 400 mm chine interceptors designed for angled hull surfaces. Their fast dual-servo actuation delivers powerful and precise lift adjustments at speeds of up to 60 knots, ensuring superior control and vessel stability.
Integrator Module (IM-E)
Compact and waterproof, the Integrator Module replaces the traditional control panel, providing seamless connection to multifunction displays (MFDs) and wireless configuration via the Zipwake app. It enables easy control, monitoring, and updates from any connected device.
Distribution Unit (DU-E)
The main power and data hub of the system, capable of supporting up to three Series E dual-servo interceptors. Fully waterproof, oil-resistant, and ignition-protected, it includes built-in electrical protection and a 4 m power cable.

INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
The chine interceptors are designed to be installed flush against the angled sections of the hull, typically along the outer edges of the transom. Their positioning ensures optimal hydrodynamic lift and effective roll damping during navigation. Each interceptor should be mounted precisely according to the supplied templates, with proper alignment to maintain balanced lift across both sides of the vessel.
The Distribution Unit must be located in a dry, accessible space such as the engine room, while the Integrator Module can be mounted near the helm or behind the dashboard for convenient connectivity to the vessel’s NMEA 2000 backbone and MFD network. All cable penetrations below the waterline must be sealed carefully using watertight grommets to maintain IP ratings and system integrity.
This modular design allows for future expansion — up to six interceptors can be connected to the system when required, without the need for additional connectors or power units. Proper configuration ensures maximum precision, safety, and efficiency during operation.
