Transducers are the core of any sonar or depth-sounding system. They send and receive sound waves that help visualize the underwater world. You need a transducer for your fishfinder to work.
A transducer converts electrical signals into sound waves and sends them through the water. When those waves reflect off the bottom or other underwater objects, the transducer picks up the echoes and sends them to the receiver. This data is used to determine depth, structure, water temperature, and fish location.
There are several types of transducers, each suited to different mounting methods and vessel types. See our categories:
In-hull transducers are mounted inside the hull with no direct water contact, offering low maintenance and ideal for fiberglass hulls.
Transom transducers are attached to the transom at the back of the boat. They are easy to install and perfect for small boats with outboard engines.
Thru-hull transducers are installed through a hole in the hull, providing the highest accuracy, especially at high speeds and for larger vessels.
Accessories include mounting brackets, cables, and protective covers to complete and secure your installation.
