The new DST810 Smart Multisensor, featuring the next generation Gen2 paddlewheel and AIRMAR’s CAST app, delivers a powerful combination of best in class speed performance and seamless calibration. The Gen2 paddlewheel provides industry leading start up speed through water measurements below 0.3 knots, becomes linear at 0.6 knots, and maintains accurate performance up to 45 knots. Using the CAST app, calibrating speed through water becomes simple, wireless, and consistent. These capabilities previously required expensive PC based software. The free CAST app allows precise calibration without relying on onboard instruments. The DST810 measures water temperature, depth, and enhanced speed through water at 5.7 Hz (five times per second) with improved speed resolution, and it integrates an attitude sensor to capture heel and trim data. Heel compensated speed calibration across various heel angles and speed ranges is fast and intuitive, giving every vessel a reliable, independent calibration solution.
