The AIRMAR 455T-PR903 is a stainless-steel, thru-hull high-frequency CHIRP Side-Scan transducer pair, designed for vessels using the built-in CHIRP Side-Scan function of Furuno NavNet TZtouchXL displays (TZT10X, TZT13X, TZT16X). Each transducer operates at 150 W within a 445–465 kHz CHIRP band, delivering precise, high-contrast lateral imaging to port and starboard simultaneously. Installation documentation
The two transducers must be installed flush with the hull, each positioned on the port and starboard sides where water flow is clean and free from turbulence. Avoid strakes, steps, intakes and other hull features that disrupt acoustic performance. Both interior mounting locations must allow secure tightening of the thru-hull hardware. Route each cable through watertight grommets and away from high-interference electrical lines. Maximum functionality requires a NavNet TZtouchXL display with built-in CHIRP side-scan.
