Installation documentation
The transducer must be installed flush with the hull surface to ensure clean water flow and accurate side-scan performance. Position it away from strakes, steps, thru-hulls and turbulence sources. The interior location must allow proper tightening of the thru-hull nut. Route the cable using watertight fittings and avoid interference-prone wiring. Full performance requires a NavNet TZtouch3 or TZtouchXL MFD with built-in CHIRP side-scan capability.
