The EchoPilot FLS 3D 30 Degree Forward-Looking Sonar is a compact, streamlined alternative to the classic FLS 3D model, designed for boat owners seeking advanced sonar performance with simpler installation and a more focused forward view. Unlike the standard FLS 3D, which uses two transducers for a wide 60° horizontal scan, the FLS 3D 30 Degree operates with a single transducer, offering a 30° horizontal field of view while maintaining the same 200-meter forward range, 100-meter depth detection, and real-time 3D imaging.
This model is ideal for vessels ranging from 29 to 60 feet that don’t require extremely wide coverage but still want commercial-level sonar capabilities with easier installation and a more affordable price point. Thanks to its Average Forward Depth technology, you can clearly see the average depth of the water ahead, providing crucial situational awareness far beyond what traditional depth sounders offer.
With its 20× depth-to-range ratio, the FLS 3D 30 Degree allows you to see 100 meters ahead in just 5 meters of water, performance unmatched by typical sonar systems.
