The concept of Solid-State radars is that they start up fast and they do not use a Magnetron, Solid State radars have no warm-up time and draw very little power. Another big feature is that Targets who approach your boat automatically change colors to help you identify them when they become dangerous. Green echoes remain stationary or sail away, while the red echoes are dangerous because they approach your ship. Target Analyzer ™ improves situational awareness and increases safety by indicating which targets / goals you need to pay extra attention to.

For the first time, FURUNO's exclusive RezBoost™ technology has been incorporated into DRS4D-NXT 25 W Solid-State Doppler radar, with an impressive performance. When RezBoost™ is set to MAX, the sharpness equivalent of a 2-degree beam width can be achieved. With RezBoost™, you'll see more detailed targets, with less clutter. You will be able to see even small and highly detailed targets such as kayaks and dinghies nicely separated on the DRS4D-NXT 25 W.
