For those who didn't know yet MAXSEA and NOBELTEC have joined forces and have standardized their brands and products. From now on only TIMEZERO is used as the product name and the products are brought to market under this name. For the professional market TZ Professional and for the recreational market TZ Navigator.
The program makes it possible to have the latest information about the weather, the tides, the direction of the current, messages to seafarers and detailed information about waterways and ports to be entered before the start of a tour. In addition, the large Mapmap-based vector maps from Mapmedia ensure that skippers have all available information and photos that they need on their journeys even on long crossings.
Thanks to the user-friendly touchscreen user interface, ease of operation and intuitive trading are TIMEZERO's trademarks. At least once a year, TIMEZERO will issue a new chart set that will always provide you with the most recent and accurate data on board.
The software offers the possibility to read the Furuno radars in a separate screen and / or radar overlay, which lays the radarscreen over the vector map. This makes reading the radar data a lot easier for novice users. Functionalities such as dual radar and ARPA and MARPA are of course also possible. AIS is shown on the map, but also on a radar image, so that the other traffic is properly mapped in unclear and nocturnal situations.Functionalities such as NavView support make it possible to make all possible data visible on the side of the screen.
The exclusive TIMEZERO Chart Engine allows for seamless and very fast zooming in and out of the 2D and 3D vector map
Multi-monitor support makes it possible to connect multiple monitors to one computer that separately display the data that the customer wants to see (eg dual monitor on inside steering position and a dual monitor on outside steering position).
Camera support and Flir Thermal Camera integration makes it possible to also set up a screen entirely or partially for the following traffic and / or when mooring. A screen with 4 cameras, in front of, next to and behind the ship, for a larger viewing angle or a camera in the engine room. The vector maps can traditionally be displayed in 2D but also in 3D or a combination of 2D and 3D.
The meteo data can be shown on the map via the internet.
Because TIMEZERO is suitable for both NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 systems, the navigation data of all commercially available brands of navigation electronics can be read. This means that all brands of autopilots can also be connected to TIMEZERO. In addition, the TIMEZERO GlassBridge network system ensures the transfer of data between different computer systems for good communication between helmsman and navigator.
With features that are truly cutting-edge, TIMEZERO software has two main objectives: Supreme control and performance. Discover in this section how TIMEZERO software caters to your needs no matter your activity.
This new technology ensures the safety of a route when it is being created: color codes (green / red) allow you to immediately determine whether the depth is sufficient to safely overtake your boat. An automatic route assistant informs you about the optimal departure and arrival time, taking into account tides and currents. The Gebruikersinterface van TZ Professional is intuitive and fully functional for gebruik op touchscreens!
TIMEZERO Professional can download and display weather forecasts in standard GRIB format directly via the weather assistant. This weather tool is completely free and easy to use, giving you unrestricted access to global weather forecasts around the clock. Select a geographic coverage, data type, time period and how you would like to receive the file. TZ Professional can provide weather forecasts for up to 16 days!
Control the ocean floor with advanced sonar capabilities. With full compatibility with FDF ™ fish finders (Furuno Digital Filter) you can use all module functions of Furuno echo sounders with the echo sounder, e. E.g .: Sounder echogram, Accu-Fish, Bottom Discrimination.
Managing the position of your tow doors with TZ Professional With the new trawl positioning module available for TZ Professional, you can view the position and movement of your tow doors directly in the software. TimeZero can integrate data from MARPORT sensors to display your fishing equipment in real time. In addition, special tools and workstations have been developed with which you can analyze your navigation areas from different angles.
Explore the seabed By adding the optional WASSP module together with the PBG module to your TimeZero software, you can connect this multi-beam sonar to your computer via Ethernet and unlock powerful integration functions. The WASSP sonar continuously receives multiple depth readings from the sea floor around your boat. This data is sent directly to TimeZero and used to create a very detailed PBG map. Save time and money by mapping the ocean floor faster than ever before.
S-63 Chart Compatibility Updating charts is an essential element in keeping everyone safe at sea. TZ Professional is now compatible with the officially encoded S-63 cards. The S-63 maps are updated every week. These cards conform to the S-52 standard developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The iconography is simplified to make the nautical charts easier to read on the screen. TZ Professional's user interface is intuitive and easy to use when it comes to managing all of your navigation data and all of the other features that have made TimeZero a huge success for over 30 years.
The connection of NMEA0183, NMEA2000 or LAN navigation data (NAVnet, UDP or TCP / IP) is possible. In addition, mm3d raster or vector maps from various manufacturers such as Jeppesen, Navionics or MapMedia are supported. An optional module can also be used to load official "Electronic Navigational Charts", abbreviated to ENC.
In addition, all routes driven are automatically saved in the logbook when the software receives a GPS signal. Saved routes can be displayed again at any time. By connecting to a camera (H264 format), a previously selected route can be displayed in the real video image, as can also be seen in the cover image of this post.
